Meet Claire
Claire started her accounting career back in 2008, training at the UK's fifth largest accountancy firm, BDO UK LLP. She specialised in corporation tax and gained her ICAEW qualification with first time passes and a regional prize.
From here she moved into industry, where she spent 5 years advising on corporation tax and VAT both domestically and internationally.
She left the corporate world when she had her first daughter in 2016, and subsequently set up Clear Accounting in 2017, wanting the flexibility to continue to work in a way that suited her young family. The business has continued to grow from strength to strength.
